Experienced Commercial Cook/Chef
The Coobowie Hotel is seeking an experienced Commercial Cook or Chef to join our team in our traditional country pub.
This is a hands-on role in a busy kitchen, suited to someone confident, reliable and passionate about delivering quality pub meals.
At times you will be required to work independently, so strong time management and initiative are essential.
About the Role:
- Ordering, preparing and cooking food to a high standard
- Maintaining consistency and presentation across all meals
- Contributing creative ideas for our Specials Board
- Working both independently and within a team environment
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Performing well under pressure during peak service times
About You:
- Relevant qualifications and/or proven experience as a Commercial Cook
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, self-motivated and hardworking
- Passionate about good food and country pub hospitality
